Chicago, Ill. (WOWO) — Police are investigating after maggots were dropped into the breakfasts of Indiana’s DNC delegates in Chicago.

The incident happened Wednesday at the Fairmont Chicago Hotel.

Investigators believe maggots were brought into the hotel by activists seeking to send a message.

The Fairmont Hotel is hosting Democratic delegates from Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri, and South Dakota.
