Investigation underway after stabbing at Fort Wayne business

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An investigation is underway after a stabbing at a Fort Wayne business.

Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department were called Tuesday, just after 1:00 p.m., in reference to a stabbing at REA Magnet Wire, located at 4300 New Haven Avenue. Once officers arrived on the scene, they learned that there was an altercation between two employees. During that altercation one employee, a male, was stabbed. He was taken to a nearby hospital and last reported to be in serious condition.

The incident is still under investigation, but officers are interviewing witnesses and the perpetrator. Check back to WOWO.com as we will continue to pass along the latest information once it becomes available.
