WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Jefferson was awarded the Healthy Hoosier School Silver Award from the Indiana Department of Education for the 2012-2013 school year.

The award was developed by the Indiana Action for Healthy Kids team that honors Indiana schools that have policies and educational programs in place to promote proper nutrition and physical education with their students.
