Judge Denies Plea Withdrawal for DeKalb County Man

TOLEDO, Ohio (WOWO) A federal judge has denied a DeKalb County man’s request to withdraw his guilty plea to starting a fire at a Toledo mosque. Randy Linn, of St. Joe was in court this morning when he told the judge that he was in an emotional state when he pleaded guilty to hate crime charges. Prosecutors said Linn made it clear he knew what he was doing when he allegedly set fire to the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo last fall because. Linn said he wanted revenge for the killings of American soldiers overseas.
