FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Jurassic Quest is bringing dinosaurs, prehistoric sea creatures and Ice Age animals to Fort Wayne for a three-day event at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

The traveling family attraction will run Oct. 16 through Oct. 18 and will feature three exhibits under one admission: Jurassic Quest, Ancient Oceans and the new Frozen Frontier.

Jurassic Quest features life-size animatronic dinosaurs representing species from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The exhibit also includes real fossils, live dinosaur shows, baby dinosaur encounters, fossil digs, dinosaur rides and other interactive activities.

The Ancient Oceans exhibit focuses on prehistoric marine life, including the Megalodon and large marine reptiles, along with fossils and educational displays about ancient ocean ecosystems.

Frozen Frontier, which organizers say will make its Indiana debut in Fort Wayne, shifts the focus to the Ice Age. The exhibit includes woolly mammoths, saber-toothed cats, dire wolves, giant ground sloths, Irish elk and other prehistoric animals.

Admission includes access to all three exhibits as well as live shows, fossil digs, rides, inflatables, crafts and educational activities.

A Sensory & Mobility Friendly Session will also be offered Saturday morning with reduced lighting and sound, smaller crowds and additional staff support for guests with sensory sensitivities or mobility needs.

The event will be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave. in Fort Wayne.
