Keep an Eye on Your Pets in Extreme Cold

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  As we shiver through a under a deep freeze, don't forget it can also pose serious threats to pets’ health and safety.

Generally speaking the best place for your pet is inside during below-freezing temperatures.

But, if you absolutely must leave pets outdoors for a limited amount of time, provide them with a shelter.

People are encouraged to report any animals left outside in below-freezing temperatures to local authorities.
