Kendallville Man Charged with Distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Criminal charges have been filed against a Kendallville man for allegedly distributing crystal methamphetamine.

 

49-year-old James Cougill was charged Wednesday morning in Noble Superior Court, with three counts:

 

Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, class A Felony

Possession of Methamphetamine (greater than three grams), class C Felony

Receiving Stolen Property, class D felony.

 

Cougill was arrested last week during a traffic stop in Kendallville. A Judge found probable cause to exist and allowed the Prosecutor’s Office 72 hours to file formal charges. The charges filed allege that on April 3rd, Cougill was found to be in possession of approximately 103 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The alleged crystal methamphetamine was later found in Cougill’s home.
