Kendallville woman accused of auto theft and resisting law enforcement

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Kendallville woman is accused of stealing a car and leading police on a chase on Wednesday.

Tiffany Renee Miller, 33, was arrested on preliminary charges of auto theft and resisting law enforcement with a motor vehicle, according to our news partners at 21Alive.

Miller is accused of stealing a 2004 KIA car from a house in Stroh.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department saw the stolen vehicle and tried to conduct a traffic stop. Miller didn’t stop and engaged police in a chase.

Police were able to stop her at the intersection of C.R. 425 South and 1170 East in Stroh.

When officers arrested Miller, she confessed to stealing the van and another vehicle from Dekalb County, police said.
