Leo grad and current IU runner Andy Bayer advanced to the finals of the mens 1,500 meter at the NCAA Track and Field championships Thursday in Eugene Oregon. Bayer qualified for an automatic spot in the finals with a blistering time of 3 minutes, 43 seconds.
