Lincoln National, the company that manages a lot of annuity funds among other things, says it needs to trim its workfoce in order to stay profitable, which means some people here in Fort Wayne are now out of work. The company, which was founded here in the Summit City, but is now headquartered out of the Keystone State says 37 people here will be given severance packages and job assistance help according to an article in this mornings paper.
