FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): November is National Adoption Awareness Month, and each year Allen County has set aside a day in November to celebrate and honor families who adopt. November 21 has been designated “adoption day,” and the Allen County Department of Child Services, the Allen County Superior Court, and the Children’s Bureau are joining to celebrate the adoptions of several foster children. Allen County Superior Court Judge Charles Pratt will preside over around 30 foster care adoptions that will be finalized November 21. The new families will get to participate in activities afterward.
