Man Allegedly Stabbed Brother with Samurai Sword

TRAIL CREEK, Ind. (AP) _ Indiana State Police say a northwestern Indiana man faces a murder charge after allegedly stabbing his brother multiple times with a samurai sword.

They say 47-year-old Bradley Arndt of Trail Creek is being held in the LaPorte County Jail on a $1 million cash bond. Jail records do not indicate whether he has an attorney.

Police say 54-year-old Thomas Arndt of Michigan City was found stabbed multiple times and lying on the front lawn of a home in Trail Creek with the 40-45-inch sword stuck in the ground nearby. Thomas Arndt was pronounced dead at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Michigan City.

Witnesses said the stabbing followed an argument over property.
