Just after 1 this morning, emergency crews were dispatched to CR 225 W just South of CR 700 S for a report of a car crash with power lines down. When they got there, they found that a pick-up truck driven by Ronald Baird of Ashley went off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole. Baird was taken to a Steuben County Hospital due to minor injuries. After treatment was complete, Baird was booked at the Steuben County Jail on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated.
