INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Authorities are conducting a death investigation after the body of a 41-year-old man was found on a street on the near north side of Indianapolis.

Officers discovered Christopher Baymon of Indianapolis with apparent trauma to his head and back early Sunday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and homicide detectives were called to investigate.

An autopsy will be performed to determine his cause of death.
