Man in Critical Condition After Fort Wayne Morning Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Monday morning shooting in Fort Wayne has left a man in critical condition.

The shooting took place just before 10 A.M. Monday morning at the intersection of Oakley and Poplar Streets, which is just south of downtown Fort Wayne.

Our partners in news at 21Alive say that, when police arrived at the scene, a man was suffering from a gunshot wound. That man was taken to the hospital, where he's listed in critical condition.

Police have detained a man and have recovered a gun at the scene. No further details are available at this time.
