AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): A Waterloo man is hospitalized after a fiery crash Sunday morning in DeKalb County.

Authorities say 47-year-old Scott Greenwood lost control of the SUV he was driving north on County Road 427. That's a stretch of highway about three miles south of Auburn.

The vehicle continued into a ditch, struck several trees, rolled and ignited. Greenwood was trapped inside.

Police say alcohol could be a factor. The man was admitted in serious, but stable condition.
