The Maplecrest extension is close to opening. It is supposed to be ready for travel tomorrow afternoon, but the opening ceremony is now being pushed back until Friday because of strong winds in the forecast.

The multimillion dollar, 1.5 mile stretch of road between Lake and Adams Center Road will make traveling north and south in the New Haven area considerably easier.
