Memorial Day Parade To Honor U.S. Service Members

One Fort Wayne street will be transformed Monday as the Allen County Council of Veteran Organizations hosts its annual Memorial Day Parade honoring current, former and fallen U.S. service members.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Parnell Avenue and State Boulevard before ending at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Opening ceremonies start at 10:45 with remarks from ACCVO Commander Arnym Pedraza, prayers from Chaplain Alena Gillum, and the national anthem by the Summit City 4 Quartet.

Closing ceremonies will include wreath presentations, student vocalist Milan Betts, and special guest speakers.
