Meth Bust in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A DeKalb County couple has been busted for meth. Michael Hughes and Sarah Smith were arrested over the weekend on several meth-related charges.

A tip in reference to possible drug activity lead police to the Twilight Inn, and officers found two meth labs, finished meth, synthetic drugs, and meth-making products during their investigation.

Both suspects were transported to the DeKalb County Jail and booked on the following charges:

Manufacturing Methamphetamine, A Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine, A Felony
Possession of Precursors, C Felony
Possession of A Controlled Substance, C Felony
Maintaining A Common Nuisance, D Felony
Possession of A Synthetic Drug, A Misdemeanor
Invasion of Privacy, A Misdemeanor 

Sara K. Smith of Corunna:

Possession of Methamphetamine, A Felony
Possession of Precursors, C Felony
Possession of A Controlled Substance, C Felony
