SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WOWO) — Maurice Williams, a 30-year-old from Milwaukee, has been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for drug trafficking and firearm possession.

After leading police on a 13-mile high-speed chase through LaPorte County and into Michigan, Williams crashed into a semi-trailer and attempted to flee on foot.

A search of his vehicle uncovered a loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine alongside a “menu” of dangerous drugs, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine.
