Members of the Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission have voted unanimously to spend nearly $2 million in funds from the Jefferson-Illinois T.I.F. district to purchase more than an acre of land on the west side of the stadium. That land would be used for development purposes.  One hundred to 125 new townhouse-style apartments could be built on the site and perhaps some homes will be for purchase as well.
