SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) _ Most residents of a South Bend neighborhood where a small private jet crashed into three houses are being allowed back into their homes.
 
  South Bend officials say the three homes that were hit, a house next door and four houses across the street remain under mandatory evacuation Monday, but authorities are allowing residents of those homes to gather a few essentials with a police escort. 
 
  Residents of those homes are being told to find alternative accommodations indefinitely. Authorities say power and gas have been restored to all homes in the neighborhood except for the three homes hit by the plane.
 
  Two people aboard the Beechcraft Premier I twin-jet were killed in Sunday’s crash and two others were injured. A woman living in one of the three homes also was injured.
