National Gas Price Average Hits Highest Spot this Year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A spike in gas prices has brought the national average to its highest price this year. The average national price is $3.59/gallon, which is still several cents lower than the average in Fort Wayne. Patrick DeHaan with www.gasbuddy.com says as we get close to the last shift to summer spec gas, prices continue to go up. However, he expects prices for the summer to be about an average of $3.52/gallon, a little less than last summer.
