FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Allen County has dedicated a a new bridge in Waynedale.

The $760,000 project on Belle Vista Boulevard spans the Fairfield Ditch. They've been working on it since June.

According to the News-Sentinel the structure came in $36,000 under estimates.

The bridge was built three feet higher to reduce the risk of flooding.
