New Haven crash leaves nearly 2,000 I&M customers without power

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): New Haven-area residents were suddenly without electricity last night and early this morning after a vehicle crash.

That’s according to Indiana Michigan Power, which says the outage started at about 11:15pm and impacted a majority of New Haven, stretching to the southeast to encompass the nearby township of Maples as well.

Power was restored shortly after 4am.
