New Haven Seeks Sesquicentennial Committee Members, Ideas

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): New Haven turns 150 years old next year and the city is looking for people who can help celebrate their birthday.

New Haven is celebrating its Sesquicentennial and the committee for the celebration has started planning for the anniversary. The city is planning on a year-long community-wide celebration of the history of New Haven. 

The Sesquicentennial Committee is holding a planning meeting on Monday, December 7th at 5:30 p.m. at the Train Depot on Main Street. The committee is seeking additional members and volunteers as well as community input.
