Indy Airport Considering Nonstop Flights to London

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Hoosiers could have an easier time getting to England.

Indianapolis International Airport is discussing potential direct flights to London with its airline partners. Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez told Inside INdiana Business Television this past weekend that it could take 18 months to two years to land a direct transatlantic route. Rodriguez says they do have travelers that go to London via Indianapolis through hubs.

The airport is adding nonstop flights to the Dominican Republic and are discussing adding nonstop flights to Seattle, San Diego, Austin, and Savannah, Georgia.
