COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WOWO): A new hotel is coming to Columbia City. 

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Hotels will be expanding into Columbia City, adding 18 new jobs by 2017, to be built in Armstrong Corporate Park on Opportunity Drive. It'll be owned by Raj Patel, who also owns and manages hotels in Fort Wayne and Plymouth. 

The hotel will get a ten-year tax abatement from the city as an incentive for building there that was suggested by the Whitley County Economic Development Corporation.
