New primate babies at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Two new baby primates can be seen at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.

A female de Brazza’s monkey was born at the zoo on April 27. Named “Baby” after the movie Dirty Dancing, she is native to the wetlands of central Africa. Her exhibit is located in the African Journey Village.

Hercules, a male baby Ring-Tailed Lemur, was born on May 7. Located in an exhibit on Central hill, the ring-tailed lemurs are active both day and night.
