No information collected after reports of shots fired

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – No cooperation was given to police after shots were fired in Fort Wayne on Saturday.

The Fort Wayne Police Department says they received calls of shots fired on Fort Wayne’s northside around 1:30 a.m. 

They were unable to determine an exact location of the incident, but dispatchers were able to trace the call to the 5200 block of St. Joe Road near the apartments. 

Reports of a fight breaking out were made, though individuals in the area fled when officers arrived, offering no cooperation or information. 

Police say there is currently no threat to the public, though no injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
