Non-profit Helps Local Police Dog

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): A police dog with the New Haven Police Department has been awarded a bullet and stab proof vest from a non-profit organization in New Bedford, MA.

“Helping Paws for K9's” sent a $2,000 donation to K9 Henry, who works with Officer Jon Wenzel at the NHPD.

The vest will help K9 Henry engage in more extensive police work.

The New Haven Police Department has been working with K9 Henry and Officer Wenzel for almost two years.
