Ohio Woman Killed in Steuben County Crash

FREMONT, Ind. (WOWO): A thirty-seven year old woman was killed in a crash Sunday night on the Toll Road in Steuben County.

Just after 10:30 last night, a slow-moving dump truck was rear-ended by a Ford F-350 pickup truck on an eastbound stretch of the highway south of Fremont.

A passenger in the pickup truck, Toyia Hill-Griffin of Cleveland was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital. The extent of his injuries was not released. The dump truck driver was not injured.

Authorities say it appears traffic was slowed before the accident and all involved were wearing seat belts.
