A man died on Tuesday evening, Dec. 30, after a crash on Coliseum Boulevard.

Around 7:25 p.m., the Fort Wayne Police Department received multiple reports of a single-car crash involving a pedestrian just west of Coliseum Boulevard and Goshen Road.

First responders found the man with life-threatening injuries, treated him on scene, and rushed him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The SUV driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities say speed and impairment did not contribute to the crash.
