One Killed in DeKalb County Crash

HUDSON, Ind. (WOWO): Police say alcohol may have played a role in a fatal DeKalb County crash Saturday night.

Authorities say 23-year-old Noe Munoz-Rubio was driving a BMW that went off State Road 4 near County Road 11 around 11 p.m., rolled and struck a tree.

He was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital for head, neck and facial injuries. He had to be removed from the car. His passenger, 24-year old Christoper Hatch of Kendallvillle was thrown from the car.

Hatch was pronounced dead at the scene. Rubio's condition was not released.
