One Man in Custody After Kendallville Police Chase

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Just before 8 a.m. Saturday, the Noble County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call in reference to a burglary in progress. The caller stated that he arrived at his after hours auto shop on W. North Street in Kendallville and confronted a man inside the building. The suspect then pulled a handgun on the owner before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

A short time later, police spotted the suspect vehicle and a pursuit took place. The suspect crashed his vehicle in the East Industrial Park and tried to run away. He was then apprehended by police.

The identity of the suspect is still being verified. No injuries were reported.
