Area Under Flash Flood Watch



SYRACUSE, Ind. (WOWO): A flash flood watch has been issued for Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio from Saturday evening through Monday afternoon.

The watch includes Allen, Adams, Blackford, DeKalb, Fulton, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, Miami, Noble, Wabash and Wells counties in Indiana. In Ohio, the area includes Allen, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Willams counties.
  
Forecasters say heavy rainfall – as much 2 to 4 inches or more – will strain low lying and poorly draining areas. Smaller creeks and steams will likely experience flooding. Larger streams and rivers will be have their water levels pushed higher.
