Yesterday the township board met to talk about their 2013 budget, and that discussion ultimately passed next year’s plans to spend their money.  It was discovered that township trustee Richard Uhrick’s plan is to outsource the fire department all together.  He says he’s still waiting for a proposal from Fort Wayne Fire as to what they would charge to cover that area.  You’ll remember last year at about this time the township got rid of all salaried fire positions and farmed out their medic service to 3 Rivers Ambulance.
