INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Gov. Mike Pence, first lady Karen Pence and their staff are selling pumpkins to benefit a food bank.
 
The Governor's Great Pumpkin Patch will be held on the south lawn of the Statehouse in Indianapolis on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. The proceeds go the Midwest Food Bank, a faith-based nonprofit serving more than 700 organizations across the Midwest and South.
 
The governor's office says the Pences will help with the sale of pumpkins and the governor is available to draw caricatures on pumpkins once they're purchased.
 
The pumpkins will be provided by Tragesser Farms in Hamilton County at no charge to the state.
 
Last year, the Governor's Great Pumpkin Patch raised more than $1,200 for the Midwest Food Bank.
