FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – WOWO’s 78th anniversary Penny Pitch raised a total of $140,692 for Breastie Boxes Organization.
After a two day radiothon at the brand new studios, The Mic, in Coventry Village, the group will use the money to cover the cost of assembling over 1,176 pink boxes. The campaign began with a goal of raising $100,000, and thanks to the support from WOWOland, surpassed it by over $40k.

Breastie Boxes is 501(c)(3) Fort Wayne organization that meets breast cancer patients right where they are in their cancer diagnosis and treatment. Breastie Boxes gifts them with a pink box filled with safe, comforting, and local luxuries that brings hope and confidence, while making the journey a little more cozy.
