Police Chase Ends with Crash in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A police chase Monday afternoon ended with a crash on the southwest side of Fort Wayne. 

 

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, police got a call around 12:30 p.m., about a domestic disturbance. Once officers arrived on the scene, they spotted a person matching the suspect's description get into a vehicle. Police followed the vehicle on a short chase in the 1900 block of Ardmore Avenue. It then crashed at the intersection of Ardmore and Nuttman.

 

The suspect took off to a wooded area where police used bean bag rounds and a taser to subdue the suspect. He was then taken to a local hospital.
