Police ID Two Bodies Found in a New Carlisle Home

NEW CARLISLE, Ind. (AP) _ Police say they are investigating the deaths of a couple whose bodies were found a northern Indiana home as a murder-suicide.

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide officials say the couple found dead in the home Tuesday have been identified as 42-year-old Andrew Zarobinski and 39-year-old Michelle Zarobinski. Commander Tim Corbett told the South Bend Tribune the deaths appeared to have been the result of gunshot wounds, but no official ruling has been made.

Police say 14- and 9-year-old children were inside when authorities arrived shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday at the home near downtown New Carlisle, about 15 miles west of South Bend.

Police were awaiting the results of an autopsy. The investigation is continuing.
