ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): A semi-driver died in Angola Friday morning after a single vehicle crash.

At about 6:20 a.m. on US 20 just west of I-69, 44-year-old Shawn Spencer of Pennsylvania was hauling steal. The steel became loose and came off the tractor trailer onto the road, according to the Angola Police Department.

Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene.

US 20 was closed for about five hours Friday while police investigated the crash.
