Police Round up Sex Offenders

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Police from four Marion County agencies and the U.S. Marshals Service have rounded up 22 convicted sex offenders for not putting their names on the state sex offender registry.

Sheriff‘s deputies and police from Lawrence, Speedway and Beech Grove conducted a two-day sweep hunting for some of the estimated 300 sex offenders who haven‘t registered.

Along with arrests for not registering, police served warrants in 30 other cases, including three new child molesting cases, a murder, and 10 other felony cases.

Marshals successfully tracked one suspect to Chicago.
