Public Health Alert Issued For Ohio Beef Packager

CINCINNATI, Ohio. (WOWO) — The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for ground beef packaged for a retailer in Cincinnati.

The frozen, raw ground beef was produced on December 10th in vacuum-sealed packages labeled “Turner Farm – Stockyards Packing Company Ground Beef”.

They bear a lot code of 241210 and an establishment number of EST M2035.

No recall is in place because the product is no longer available for sale.

There was a consumer complaint about pieces of hard plastic and metal found in the product.

There have been no reports of injury or death, and anyone with this ground beef in their freezer should throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
