Purdue Prof. Creates RoboDesk for Wheelchair Users

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): A Purdue University scientist has developed a wheelchair tray that helps people with disabilities use mobile devices more easily. The “RoboDesk'' features a motorized wheelchair mount with an arm that can deploy or retract. Brad Duerstock hopes to get his “RoboDesk'' in the marketplace within three years.
