FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Red River Waste Solutions, Fort Wayne’s trash collection company, is in the news again. This time, for hitting a resident’s truck.

Pine Valley residents have issued several complaints about Red River, not only because of missed trash pick up’s, but because of some drivers’ behaviors, according to our partners in news at ABC 21.

A police report issued Thursday states a Red River driver was picking up garbage on Willowind Court when the garbage truck hit a resident’s truck, pushing it about 14 feet.

The report says the driver didn’t realize the garbage truck’s arm was out when it struck the vehicle, which was parked on the east side of the street.

No further details have been provided at this time, but WOWO will update the story as information becomes available.
