ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): With last week’s snowstorm, the Allen County Solid Waste District ended their Christmas tree recycling program on Friday, however, if you haven’t taken down your Christmas tree just yet, there's still time to recycle it as three other locations will remain open until January 24th. They are as follows:
1.) Allen County Highway Garage: 2234 Carroll Road
2.) Compost Site – Republic Services: 6231 MacBeth Road
Hours for the above locations: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 12 Noon.
3.) Compost Site – Fort Wayne Bio-Solids Facility: 5510 Lake Avenue
Hours for the above location: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
