Restrictions Lifted On Indian Lakes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Restrictions have been lifted for speed boats on Indiana Lakes.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says the idle speed boating restriction in LaGrange County have been lifted for the Indian Lakes chain.

The restriction was enacted on July 17th due to high water levels at Witmer, Westler, Dallas, Hackenurg and Messick Lakes.

Sergeant Patrick Heidenreich of the Conservation Officers says the hazards no longer exist and boating can resume normally on the lakes.
