FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Your commute on I-469 might be a little slower for about a month.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will be doing resurfacing work on both directions of I-469 between U.S. 30 and State Route 37 starting later this month. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions until late September. No specific start date was given.

But starting Thursday, the exit ramps on I-469 at the State Route 1 exit will be resurfaced. The ramps will be reduced to 12 foot lanes while crews are working on them.
