FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): You can run or walk for military families Saturday.

The inaugural “Race for the Warrior” is scheduled for Saturday morning at the Fort Wayne International Airport's Air Trade Center. 

Proceeds from the 5k or 10k run and walk will benefit local military families needing financial hardship assistance. 

Registration begins at 7:30 in the morning at the Air Trade Center with the race kicking off at 9 A.M. You can find more information here.
